Accredited Member Insurance
Accredited members of Craftsouth receive an insurance package which covers the areas of Public Liability, Products Liability, Tenants Liability and Goods in Care, Custody and Control. The regular retail price of this insurance package is between $700 - $1,500, making the annual $220 Accredited Membership fee incredible value for money.

Professional Assistance
Members receive free consultations with Craftsouth staff to assist with any aspect of their craft and design practice. This may include: career planning, costing and pricing, contracts, project management - for exhibtions or short-run production, preparing a funding application, developing a marketing plan etc. Consultations are by appointment only.
Professional Development Program
Craftsouth undertakes a range of events, seminars, and workshops to assist in the professional development of its membership. Topics range from marketing, public presentation, funding and insurance seminars to artist talks & presentations. Members receive discounts to all Professional Development Program events.

The Craftsouth Bulletin features industry news, articles and reviews, together with the latest in professional development opportunities for craft and design practitioners.

The fortnightly E-Bulletin features the latest opportunities for the craft and design sector - including funding opportunities & deadlines, exhibitions, employment, workshops and items for sale.
Competitions Calendar (annually)
The calendar is published annually in March, providing a month-by-month breakdown of funding , awards and competitions. The calendar enables members to plan their submissions well in advance and increase their success.
Referral Service and Slide Library
Craftsouth provides a Referral Service on behalf of its members. This service is available to the general public and is regularly accessed by commissioning clients, architects, the manufacturing industry, government agencies, and curators. Accredited Members are promoted through our Slide Library, which is the source of much of the referral work which Craftsouth does.
Resource Centre
Craftsouth Members have access to the Resource Centre, featuring the lastest local and international craft and design journals, an extensive collection of reference books across all disciplines, as well as reports and statistical information to assist with business planning.
